Dress fitting! With pics!!

Went to my first dress fitting today, was over pretty quickly, but it was really good! My dress was too big for me, so it was great to go today and have the woman put it on me and pin it to fit. And she pinned the bustle up at the back which Ive never had done before, it was soooo light feeling to have the train up off the floor!

Will put up some pics, sorry if they are massive, I dont know how to make them smaller...

Obviously you can see the pins along the bottom and the sides on the dress, but you get the idea lol!!

Had a really good time, just need to lift some tins of beans or something to make my arms more toned. No point doing situps and that now cos she already has my measurements lol!!

Kinda, just needing to sort out how we are going to pay for it all.... Wull wants to borrow money from someone to pay for everything we have left just now (so we know its all paid) and then pay them back. Problem is we have about £4.5k still to pay, and my sister is already giving us £2k of that that we need to pay her back. But realistically, we could pay back a grand or just over a grand for the next 4 months and that will be us paid for it all by the end of September.... Maybe October.....

Sent my wording off to the stationers today, TICK! Sorted out my cake with the cake woman, getting free hire of her new cake stand in return for a few pics for her website, TICK!

Sounds like you have everything pretty much sorted anyway. The financial side is always the most stressful but it will come together in the end. I freaked out big time esp with my parents being the knobs that they were taking my car and stuff 2 weeks before the big day but we managed in the end. You will get it all sorted x

Well I spoke to one of my sisters yesterday (the one with loads of money in the bank lol!) She is basically going to give me all the money I need to pay everything for the wedding, and I will pay her back between now and Christmas. Done our sums last night, we should have her paid back by the end of October... fingers crossed! lol!

I know its not ideal, and I was really upset the other day at the thought of asking her for money, but its just the way things happened for us. Wull was out of work for almost a year there, its put our plans sooo far back its unreal! Anyway, Im happy that we are covered, and we actually had a really good chat about the wedding last night. Its been a topic we have kinda avoided the last few months because we knew we couldnt afford it but didnt really want to say that out loud...... Sorry, Im rambling!

I am getting married 9 weeks tomorrow and I cant wait!

If your sister is willing to help then thats a good thing. Much better to owe her and know you can pay her back by xmas, maybe even october than owing the bank for years like we are lol I bet you're all pleased now the hardest parts sorted i'm really pleased you've got things sorted x
