Just want a few suggestions please girls. Since our invitations have gone out, I have noticed that people are looking at our message board, but not responding. Okay, I only have one topic, and that's for song requests. So here's where you ladies might be able to help me. What other topics can I start that *hopefully* will get guests replying? x

Well there's various ones going about, like gettingmarried.co.uk. We chose weddingpath.co.uk. Don't want to publish all of my details on here, so I'll PM you our address and password if you fancy having a look. I think they're quite useful for guests to find out lots of important info. Besides, I had lots of fun making it on boring day! lol. x

Song suggestions are a good on - what about finding out whos staying at the accomadation etc, isit anything to do with the hotel? x

Accomodations nothing to do with us, that's guests responsibility. If they want to book a room, they do it themselfs. I dunno, I've been racking my brain most of the day now, and I don't know what other topics could put on there. I would put about the hen night, but that's my sisters area, I don't know much about it at the moment.

I saw one where people put dietary requirements - depends how your running it. I think that one had an rsvp section and so then said what food they'd want x

I've put:

where and when
accommodation and taxi list (supplied by venue)
RSVP
blog
a contact us form
and a "sundries" list (dress code, the fact there's a cash bar but no cash machine in the village, etc.)

and our honeymoon gift fund will go up once we've sorted it

Not a message forum as such but maybe some ideas for you in there?

you could still have this, purely so other people know where guests are staying so they know if its a good place, location wise, or so they know if theres other guests there (for either way - sometimes its nice to stay in the same place, sometimes people might want to incorporate your wedding in a short holiday and might want to be away from other wedding guests), Is it a discussion board like on facebook or like on here so that people can write messages than anyone can see?

Oh, we're having a cash bar, and I didn't even think about there not being a cash machine. I just assumed guests would bring enough money with them. Thank you!

We have information about hotel room rates under the accomodation section. i have the whole site sorted out, I just needs some topics for my message board. It is a bit like here, a forum. Any guest can reply to or start a topic, and any guest can see all messages.

This was our website: http://www.louise-and-paul.joinedhearts.co.uk/ We also had a requests section but to be honest no-one really used it. A few people told us face to face what songs they would like xx
