Everything is fine but we are thiking of postpning the wedding untill next December - this year is going faster than fast and finances arnt great....we have so much to get to do regarding the house kids etc....as much as id love to have the wedding this year i cant justify spending 15 k on a wedding when the kids need stuff the mortgage needs paying, we dont even own a car anymore!
I need to speak to a few people but like Greg said yesterday...i thik id have a better day next year because there wouldnt be so much pressure to try and do it this year, if you know what i mean? But we'll see how things go - i wont be upset if it dosent happen this year - alot of things have changed the last few months....he told his parents, he got me a ring, so thats enough commitment for now.
Anyway hope your all ok? Hows your planning going Zeps?

Dont worry about postponing to next year, its quite a sensible thing to do! A lot of people would have kept going with the wedding this year, but if you are going to kill yourself financially to do it....... Well its just not worth it.

Planning is going ok, still needing a lot of help thinking of ways to decorate the venue. Need to go get pics of the 2nd venue we are considering, then you lot can help with decoration ideas!

To upload a pic, if you click on Reply, then the wee boxes above the text box, click on the one that looks like a wee polaroid. Right click on the image you want to post, click Properties, and copy the URL address. Paste this URL into that image box, then that should work!

YAY for the engagment ring, and that is great news that he has told his parents. Looking forward to seeing a picture!

Thanks for the comments on the ring too - it was worth the wait but had to laugh on how he done it.
There was a posh jewellers at the airport when we were on our way back...i was in the duty free and he said 'come over here a minute' went over nd he said, 'if i buy this ring, will it keep you quiet for 5 minutes' hahahaha so he bought it, i tried to make him get down on one knee but he was having none of it, we were sitting down waiting to board, i put the ring on, and this lady came up to me and said 'wow what a sparkly ring...have you just got engaged' i thought for a minute, shall i tell the truth, then i thought - nahhhh - so my reply was 'yes, hes just proposed, lovely isnt it' Gregs face was a picture, with a slight shake of his head! Ever the romantic he is!
On the wedding note...i have one last financial resort which iam waiting to hear back on in the next couple of weeks - if it falls through then i will resign myself to having a postpone it. Its just a waiting game at the moment! x
