Right then girls - on a more positive note! A new theme!

Welll i may aswell turn this in a more positive note - seen as i had all xmas dark colours like red and black for this year
I will need to change my theme now as i dont think them colours will be appropriate for a summer wedding
Sooo i was thinking - i like the idea of
A summer tropical 'butterfly' theme, with lots of pinks, blues, yellow etc?
What do you think of this theme girls - i really like it! Not sure it will go with my big dress thou?
Ah god so much to srt out i will have to change all my flowers now - and table theme!
The one i have now just wont go at a summer wedding!
Anyway girls can any of you suggest any other summer type themes? x

What have you already bougt Hun and so need to keep? Dresses etc?

On a positive note....i can get some tips off you now thou missy! How did you feel when you postponed babe? Its such a big desicion isnt it. Anyway i think ill be ok to switch toa different theme....
I have only put a deposit on the red and black dresses - but just spoke to the girl at brida shop and she said she can just transfer the deposit onto other coloured dresses if i want as she hadnt sent the order yet! phewwww
Ive purchsed my dress thats fine!
Table favours in black were purchased but never mind, my mum got them cheap as chips so not to worry there either....
Ummm thats it - ive spoken to the girls whos doing my flowers/decos/planning and i have to go down and see her for coffee and we'll go from there i guess!
I do love the idea of the tropical summer colours thou!

Would you want one particular colour, or a multicolour theme?

Honestly at first I felt terrible and was convinced it was a terrible idea and broke my heart. BUT now I think it was the best thing we ever did! And it's made us a stronger couple, and we're so much more in love than we were (even if things arn't good at the moment what with work etc).

Honestly hun I would pick 2 main colours and then maybe one 'touch' colour.

Like I have Aqua blue and white with silver as my 'touch' colour.

Does that make sense?

Colours include hot pink, aqua blue/turqouise, yellow, lime green and orange

Good combinations are:

Yellow and Green
Pink and Green
Blue and Yellow
Pink and Blue
Orange and Green
Orange and Yellow

I love all these colours... i spes like the yellow/ orange combo - or the pink and orange combo - how lush!

Job hunting no good at the moment. Got a meeting on tuesday to sign on, I know it's ok as I've been paying my taxes and NI for years but I feel almost guilty!!

Aw dont feel guilty for signing on Kris - like you say its what your owed from paying your taxes etc! People do it everyday - me and Greg included when we were out of work - it was hard but you might get help with bills too if your in difficulties? Anyway keep your head held up high missy - you are entitled to it.

If I was you I would do mainly white on the tables with touches of turquoise and lime green. Keep it very simple

We're mainly having white with touches of aqua.

OOH! I spent last night soaking water crystals and they look stunning! Going to make a load of table decoration mock ups today

Ivory dress is fine! You don't have to match the colour scheme, you are the bride!! Lol.

If I was you I would pick one colour (turquoise or lime green) as your main colour and have the other as a secondary

Yes im going to have the bridemaids in turquoise...and bits of lime green tied in with the turquoise!
Am also thinking of putting a few butterflys ( not real ones obviously lol) in the scheme to make it kinda of tropical...what you think x
