Well, I know I've only just arrived but....

...I'm afraid I'm leaving you all.

h2b suffers terribly with anxiety, and this morning he broke down saying that he doesn't feel ready to get married yet. Alot of other things are also going on and I took the decision to cancel the wedding indefinately. We'll still be engaged, but when he feels ready (whether that be in 6 months, a year, 2 years etc) he will ask me again, and I will 100% be back here.

Good Luck to everyone with your planning and weddings - I hope you all have the most wonderful days and marriages. I hope the forum goes from strength to strength, and alot more people come along to join you.

I am really sorry to hear that. I think you are doing the right thing though and it sounds like you are incredibly strong.

Thank you all....it will be odd putting everything wedding related away, I don't know what I will do of an evening or to keep me busy during quiet periods at work, but if it makes him happy then I will do it.

Sorry to hear that hun, is he scared of the actual wedding or the actual being married?
If it's the whole big wedding thing could you not just go to the registry office with your witnesses and get married alone? At least that way you would still be married and when H2B is ready then have a blessing?

Nope, it's the actual idea of marriage - he said he's not ready for it, and doesn't want to go into such a big commitment until he's truly sure it's what he wants. So it's just a case of waiting for then, really - if it ever happens.
