Think I've just booked my venue!
I think!!
We still aren't 100% sure yet, but have a provisional booking for Woburn Safari Park next April (2011)
H2B wants to look at another couple of places, and my Mum is concerned there's no-where to take pictures if it rains, and that 11am is too early for a ceremony and it might get muddy and people might get hungry, and ... and... (!!)
...but I love it, so there!!
xx

A safari park?? HOW COOL! The photos will be amazing!! Lol.
We're having our ceremony at 11am and no-one has complained (yet, lol). Do you know how the rest of the day would pann out time wise?

Ohhhh that soudns awesome!!!!
And 11am isn't too early for ceremony, although might mean you have to be up at crack of dawn to get hair, make up etc done on time!
We would've had a morning wedding, except that I am crap at getting up at best of times and am betting i won't get to bed very early the night before!

I know, I'll be up at dawn with the hair straighteners!
They've given us a good deal if we get married early enough that they can fit in another wedding afterwards!
Rest of the day I'm not sure about - probably eat at 3 then people with kids and elderly relatives can leave afterwards without thinking they're missing out - then the real party can start!
I'm planning on feeding people constantly, so it'll be:
ceremony at 11, over to marquee by 12 (it's only a couple of hundred yards - you get to drive past the elephants!)
then photos, canapés, bubbly and the chance to drive round the safari park for free (yep, I'll be doing it if I can!)
Sit down meal at 3, speeches over by 6, first dance / cut the cakey stuff around 7...
Drink & Dance til the early hours with bacon rolls or cheese board around 9 !!!
not that I've been thinking about it at all
I promised myself I wouldn't get excited yet (as I've got over a year to go) , but went for a meal with my BM on Sat and she got me thinking about it!!
oh, and tried a dress on last weekend that I absolutely love - trying to resist the urge to buy it straight away; it's double my budget but wow it was stunning!!
