bridal seamstress prices

are pathetic 1200 i paid for my dress they want 95 pound to take it up at front and 45 to take it in would you pay this throu convieniance and have it done at the shop or take it and find your own x

I would probably pay it as they are expereinced at wedding dresses.

This is something that I'm worried about. My dress will need taking up quite alot, and it will also need taking in at the bust. It will need a beed tightening as it has come loose, as has the hook at the back. I also want a button and loop thing put on to tie up my train in the evning. I have budgeted £200 for this work, so I hope it's enough. My sisters dress that is coming from the same shop will also need taking up a bit, and taking in at the bust. I have budgeted £100 for that, so hopefully it will be enough. If I knew of any good seemstresses in my area, I would probably take them to them, but I don't . So I'll just have to have more sleepless nights worrying that I won't be able to afford alterations.

189 each my bm dresses were 5 ov them 200 each for flower girl 1200 for mine and now they have the cheek to charge me all that!!!xxx

Wedding prices are extortionate hun. It's up to you whether to pay it or not. Perhaps you could ring round a few local seamstresses, see if they have much experience altering Wedding Dresses, then find out how much they would charge you to do the same work? No doubt an independant seamstress would charge alot less than the dress shop. But if you do find your own, make damn sure she's had experience before letting her lose on your dress! x

yea my sil2b had her bm dresses made so ive text her too see if that woman cud do something with mine her bm dresses were amazing xx
