My weddingy weekend
Friday night one by one the 3 bridesmaids arrived. H2B did all the pick ups from the train station in between putting the TESCO shopping away and coking us a curry from scratch! Stayed up til 2am chatting and drinking a lot of champagne!!
Woke up at 6.30 - bridesmaid no. 3 was taking up too much room in my bed! Not too much of a sore head! Anyway H2B cooked breakfast for everyone. 10am first appointment.... awful; we stayed for 30 minutes. 11am appointment over even quicker. We were out by 11.05! H2B took us back home for a snack and to pick up the sandwiches he had made and then off we went to shop number 3. Better, is the only word to descirbe it. Although on leaving we thought we might get stabbed! More food on the train to London and we felt ready to hit Oxford Street. Straight to Debenhams.
Now to cut a very long story short. Shop assistant threatened to call security on me as i was stood inside the changing rooms not trying anything on. The dress i LOVED look hideous on bridesmaid no. 2 (she has huge boobs). The dress all 3 bridesmaids loved was the entire budget for their dresses and accessories. 2 and a half hours later i just started crying uncontrollably in the middle of Debenhams! Then MIL2B arrived with my mum and dresses were tried on again. I was on the verge of tears when about 20 people stood in the changing room queue all took a step forward and gasped at the sight of my bridesmaids. They looked beautiful! So £585 later,i now have 3 bridesmaid dresses hanging in my bedroom. I'm still not 100% convinced about the dress, but its tough. Here is the link.

I never, ever, ever want to go bridesmaid shopping again. Can you ladies please remind me that in September when we go shopping for their shoes and accessories!
Phew!

I like them! Sorry you had a tough time finding them though. Reading things like this makes me happy I only have one adult bridesmaid.
