No hen party for krissy?
Well as we're in the process of moving the wedding I realised I had to move my hen party!
We'd always planned on a weekend in Alton Towers for my best friends but as I already have a weekend away in London planned for September I can't afford both. So I suggested my other best mate came to London with us (one best friend is already coming), but she's admitted she can't afford anything this year.
Annoyingly I only have 2 real good female friends and don't enjoy nights 'out'.
But both best friends have said they could afford a few drinks out but no more.
So its either 2 pints down the pub with 2 mates, or no hen party for me

Have a girly sleepover with cocktails, pizza etc. Doesn't have to cost a lot!

I agree with FutureMrsP! I'm planning on a girly night (as girly as I get anyway). I hate dancing and drinking so I'll do something in my flat. H2Bs cousins wife had hers at her dads house, and they had to make wedding dresses out of foil and bin bags, and they made the MIL2B dress up in it. Hilarious photos!!

A couple of pints with a couple of close friends sounds ideal, I've been at hen dos that drag on forever, lol, for mine I just had a lunch with a group of friends and was home in time for the x factor! I was at one yesterday as well, and again it was just a lunch in a pub in town that did good offers on food and £1.99 cocktails, I only spent around £40 and that included taxis! (and I was home for 8ish) I think the point I'm making is that they don't have to extravagent-as long as the people you want are with you x

Re: No hen party for krissy?
I wish my hen do would just be a few pints down the local! My sister (MOH) is planning my hen do. That scares me. TBH, I don't really want a hen do. I don't see the point in "one last night of freedom". I had my one last night of freedom before I even met h2b. lol. I'm just not one of these people that enjoys going to loud places, then getting so drunk that you're embarrassed about how you fell on your @rse when you remember it the next day!
But like the other girls said, have a girly sleepover. Pyjama party! Get some soppy films, order pizza, do eachothers hair and nails, have a few drinky's, and I bet it would make for lovely memories. x
