Its almost the weekend, yipppeeeee

What we all up to? I have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday off next week too as my big brother is 30 on Tuesday! So they are coming with baby Lily tonight, party at my mums house tomorrow then on Monday me and Rik are off to the Registry office to sort out our certificate of non impediment which needs to be sent over to Italy x

We are heading to Dumfries to pick up a piano stool I just won on ebay! I had been outbid on it last week, just got a second chance offer, so happy! Will see if I can get a pic........

Just had the confirmation email through from the bridge climb people, it's all booked!! So now need to contact all the English wedding stuff and tell them the date has moved again, lol. Plus got to do our intendment of marriage form, which needs to be signed by a notary public? What the heck is that? lol

Going to London tomorrow to watch the mighty Green Army at Watford and then probably at mums on Sunday.

Oh Kris thats fantastic news!! I cant believe you actually booked that, Im so jealous! Not that I would have dont the Climb, Im terrified of heights, but its just such an unusual ceremony! Love it

And Ive no idea what a public notary is... Im hoping our humanist celebrant will tell me everything I need to do and when to do it lol

I think a public notary is someone involved in law in some way, so you would need to go to a solicitor, lawyer or barrister??

Yeah when you get married abroad depending where you go you have to have different paperwork, when my BM got married in cyprus she had to have an affi davit sworn which was all done by a Solicitor, I have to go to a english registry office for them to do me a certificate of non impediment. Yours is the same kind of thing as the cyprus one, you will kind of swear an oath to say you can get married and have your signature witnessed by a notary public which is just like going to a solicitor to have it done but its like a solicitor with a fancy title. If you just ring round a couple of solicitors in your area and ask them if they have anyone there who is a notary public then that should sort that x

I've got my H2B nephew staying with us, don't know for how long, he came yesterday and could stay till sunday as I think he has school monday, but its means I'm looking after them both, but I am hopping my mum will come over on saturday and she might be bringing my grandad as he is staying at my mum's for a few days.
