My first post marriage problem whoo hooo, what do you girls think of this, h2b and his dad have always been very close, most of h2b's mates would ring his dad even if Rik is not going out and just go out with his dad instead, it has caused a few problems in the past where maybe me and my mates are going out and maybe rik and a couple of his friends come too, problem is that always includes his dad resulting in a bunch of 20 something girls hanging around with a 55 year old! (does that sound really bad) He is not sleezy in anyway but he does go out of his way to tell you how pretty you look and sometimes I think my friends feel a bit uncomfortable, i genuinly do think he just thinks he is still in his twenties and his son and his mates are his best mates, I dont like it for 2 reasons, one because his and and sometimes even his mum come along to lots of things because of this mate things and i havent invited my mum or her partner and I dont want them to feel left out and 2 sometimes I just want to do stuff with my mates and not feel like I am out with my parents! Its all coming up again cause a bunch of us are thinking of going away for a couple of nights for new years so of course his dad has been included so its basically alot of my friends, some of riks all in our 20s then riks mum and dad coming!! arghhhh, am I just being a bitch? x

Don't really have any advice for you, didn't want to read and run tho. It's a bit tricky when hubby is quite happy with his dad around, but I totally see where you are coming from, I do a fair amount of socialising with my mum, but she seems to know her place and when to go home/say no thanks etc (I don't mean that unkindly, lol) No idea how you can get round it, sorry Sad
