Hen night dress ups - What are your ideas?

OOOH i love this part of the wedding build up!!!
I have 2 hen nights this year then my own -
I have one where one of my best friends is having hers in Cardiff then im off to Blackpool in the summer for a 80's weekend! But my own....i havnt got a clue where to go or what to dress up as - i want something original - Something knowone has really thought of yet!
If your dressing up what were your ideas? xxx

I saw a couple of hen parties last year that i thought were relly differnt

Tennis players they looked really cool and like air stewardesses xx

OOOHHH air hostesses .. i like i like like....I always wanted to be a trolley dolly! Nicew work pink!!! Will seriously consider that! x

In accessorize last year they had some pink feather masquerade (sp?) type masks and pink feather fans, I thought they were cute getting all dressed up like you were going to a ball. For my hen party we are going to a cocktail making class then going for pole dancing lessons later in the day then going out for the night so I dont think we are actually getting dressed up as anything cause there is that much else going on, there has been mention of t shirts for during the day. A few I have seen that look good are roman goddess's with a white dress and gladiator sandles etc, golf seems to be very in right now I have seen loads of parties dressed up lately in golf wear. How about sexy nerds? x

Yeah i can say ive seen that before either! Think it looks quite hot aswell! I really didnt fancy getting dressed up as a smurf or something

I love it !!! you'll be addicted!! You sound as if youve got lots planned for you do - making cocktails sounds fab - id prob be on the floor after my 4th though iam not very good iwv cocktails

Yeah if i was going sexy nerds i would wear the big glasses and little skirt with knee high socks, guess its a bit st trinians ish but more geeky haha. I cannot wait to go pole dancing! never done it before and I will probably break my neck cause my lack of co-ordination is laughable. One of my BM's loves to get dressed up she is the type who when the rest of us turn up to a friends house in our scruffs she is dressed for a night out, we are expecting her to turn up looking like someone out of moulin rouge hahah cant wait x

Its at the end of May, we are having it the same week as Rik has stag party, they are all off to Edinburgh going to watch races at Musslebrough then just drink probably! They are having a bad jumper competition they have to find the most old mannish horrid jumper they can and wear it all day, they all put ten pound in a pot and get some random person to judge them at the end of the day and whoever wins gets all the money. Rik got a jumper from ebay it is rotton! x

I have always liked the idea of tootoos and leg warmers for some reason! Dunno why?!

Also, I like the idea of dressing up as sexy police women, so I can cuff people and hit naughty men with my trungeon!

Doubt I will have a themed hen party though, haven't got enough people going. x

I am not dressing up for my hen do as it really isn't my thing (i will dress up for anybody elses though lol!) for my friends we are going as sailors...now if i was getting married near christmas which i love i would have to get dressed up as a star or christmas tree lol!

Charlie you can still have a themed - i havnt got an awful lot going to mine 10 or 15 maybe!
Dont think everyone likes the idea of dressing up do they - the thought of me waering a short skirt, i must say, makes me cringe..ive never wore a mini skirt in my life

Yeah sailors is a good one esp with all the nautical theme stuff out at the min. When I was BM for my friend who got married in Cyprus we went out dressed in neon tutus leg warmers etc here are pics from facebook, some of the locals even wanted their photos taken with us haha

I had my day of wearing mini skirts, unfortunately since having kids, those days are long gone, never to be revisited! But I still have to wear skirts above the knee, any longer and I look really frumpy!

I will only have about 9 people coming to my hen do, and 2 of those are of the older generation, so I don't think dressing up would be worth it. Never mind, I'll have fun anyway. To be honest, I don't particularly want a hen do, but my sister is insisting. Kyle and I originally wanted a Hag do, but his mum told us no chance!

Same here hun - i would rather save my money and use it for wedding - but i feel if i dont have a wedding then iam spoiling it for the girls who want to do me a hen night if you know what i mean? I think a smaller number is nicer anyway Charlie - you can have a better laugh knowing you are wiv people you are closer too x

Me and H2B are thinking about a Hag do. As we are having a small wedding would feel a abit cheeky asking people who aren't invited to come to a hen night. So we thought about having a night out with the friends that are coming to the wedding. H2B is quite keen on dressing up though - worrying!

Im planning on 3 hen do's:

A weekend away with my bridesmaids and poss a few other besties,
A meal and bowling evening for all the family (including the young nieces)
A night out with all the ladies!

The night out we're hoping will include fancy dress and me and my bridesmaids are fancying cheerleaders at the moment

seeing as i am always in my pyjamas unless i am out of the house it seemed like the best idea, so we are all off out to blackpool in our pjs
