Report with Pics!!

Morning Ladies,
Well I spent last night downloading my wedding pics from the disc into photobox, It was so slow last night!!
But here goes with my report, sorry for the delay, been trying to get back settled into normal routine and busy finalising things for the blessing on 6th March.
Report, Sorry It's a long one!!:
In the morning all 6 of us (Me, H2B, Mum, Dad and In-Laws) all went and had breakfast together in the restaurant endorsed by Marco Pierre White! Yummy. We then went our seperate ways, the girls all went to the on-board hairdressers to have our hair styled, whilst the boys went and enjoyed the cruise entertainment, like going to a debate about Speed Cameras!! Bless.
The photographer came to the hairdressers and took some pics of us getting our hair done.
Once our hair was done we went back to my mums cabin to get ourselves al ready, I sat at mums dressing table and did my makeup, I took my time and stayed calm! The photographer then came to get some shots of me getting ready.
My dress then arrived from the Laundry Team, who had kindly taken it ashore in Mexico to be steamed (they didnt tell me it went ashore until they gave it back to me as they knew I would have been worried about it, but it came back beautiful, they did a fantastic job) The photographer was amazed by my dress, as this was the biggest dress and veil they had seen on a cruise before, so he took some shots of the dress hanging up.
I then got into my dress with the help of my mum and Mother In Law.
Once my dress was on MIL went to make sure the men were all suited and booted, and made sure they looked neat and tidy!
They then went to the Bar where they were told to meet the wedding co-ordinator, who then escorted them to the Captains Lounge.
Whilst I was waiting for my escort I had a drink with both my parents who kept looking at me a crying!! It was lovely for the three of us to have a few moments alone!!
I was ready about 45 minutes before the ceremony was due to start, so was very calm, and very stress free!!
My escort then arrived about 5-10 minutes late!! And escorted me to the captains lounge, where the Captain met me outside to explain what was going to happen, he then left me with my Dad ready to walk down the aisle.
When H2B saw me, his face was a picture, he was gobsmacked and kept saying how beautiful I looked, I cried all the way through the ceremony!!!
After the service we were taken to the Bridge where the control the Ship, that was amazing talking to all the crew and seeing how it works, we had some pictures taken up there as well. We were told that whilst we were saying out vows we were sailing 25 miles South West of Grand Cayman!!
After that we went and had hunfreds of pictures taken, and were stopped by lots of passengers wanting pictures and wanting to look at my dress and veil!! I felt like a celebrity!
After the pictures we all 6 went to Marco Pierre White's restaurant for a salad, and then just walked around the ship, sat in the bar had a coffee and some drinks.
In the evening we went to the restaurant where I was greeted by all the waiters in a line clapping whilst I entered the room, they had put "Just Married" balloons at our table! My 2 mums had organised a surprise for me and Leon, they had arranged for the captain and his guest to come and dine with us, which was amazing and really finished the day off beautifully.
When we had finished dinner, we opened cards that people had given to the parents and exchanged gift (me and Leon).
We then went to a show and watched a comedian wand enjoyed a few cocktails and before we knew it, it was time for bed!
We had the most amazing day and I would highly reccommend to anyone wishing to get married abroad to do it with P&O on a ship, it is amazing and so stress free, they really look after you!!!

Sounds like you a fantastic day. Your dress looked beautiful.

Will check pics later as on phone at the moment, but it sounds a lovely day. The more I hear stories like this the more it makes me want to cancel our wedding and get married in oz
