Hi all. Thanks for the welcome. I will add my wedding date onto the calender shortly.

Sarah sajo - so far I have got the venue for ceremony & reception booked (all at the same place), the registrar is provisionally booked until we can officially give our notice and we have just this week booked our photographer. That's all we've done so far apart from getting lots of ideas. Our venue is having a wedding fair in 2 weeks time so hoping to sort out chair covers and DJ there and also speak to the florist the venue regularly uses to get a quote e.t.c. Not sure what else I should be doing at the mo. Lol, trying desperately not to try dresses on yet! lol

I'm not getting married till August next year, but I've booked an appointment at a Bridal Shop for next week - not to pick one, but instead to get an idea of what shapes suit. I'm really excited about it! My mum's flying over from Dublin to go with me - it'll be a proper girly day.
Have you thought about looking for a photographer yet? The ones I've spoken to have said they've got bookings as far ahead as 2012, so it's not too early for that.

babs if you havnt booked a photographer do so we wanted a well known 1 who is highly popular so when we booked thankfully was only date in may he had free that was november 2008 so if you have ur eye on anyone book them x

Hi ladies, babs, I think i'm going to do the same when it comes to the summer for dresses, I don't wear dresses ever, my other half has seen me wear one dress in the 4 1/2 years we've been together so I have no idea what suits me e.t.c

Have sorted the photographer out now so I'm quite pleased about that, he said he's already had 10 bookings for 2011 and he's had loads of enquiries about other dates (including one for my date!).

Just hoping to get some more of it done in April when our venue has it's fayre on. My other half hasn't let me book or even enquire about anything else because of that so hopefully we can get the ball properly rolling after April 11th! lol.

Where is everyone based then, I'm in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire but getting married in Rutland!
