Menu Tasting Last Night!
Mmmmm, everything was soooo yummy! But I swear I could literally feel my hips expanding as I ate! lol. That was the only down side, well, that and the fact that I have an awful chest infection . Still had a nice time though!
We have decided on this:
Starter: Parma Ham and Melon
Main: English Roast Beef served with yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and seasonal vegetables
Dessert: Vanilla baked cheesecake drizzled with white and milk Belgian chocolate sauce
Vegetarian Alternatives:
Starter: Mozzarella cheese covered in egg and breadcrumbs, deep fried and sunken in Napoletana sauce (this was sooo yummy, but very heavy, so we decided not to have it as the standard starter)
Main: Baked layers of Aubergines, mozzarella and tomato sauce served with potatoes
So what do you reckon? It was all so tasty, I'm looking forward to our Wedding Day even more now! lol.
Was hard to hand over another deposit of £2000 though. Oh well, it's gotta be paid off sooner or later. Atleast we only owe about another £1700 now

It's not the most exciting menu ever, but I think there's something there for everyone ifkwim. Everyone likes a good roast dinner don't they? lol
It all tasted amazing anyway! x
Zeps - I don't think we actually have any veggie guests, but the alternative is there incase someone doesn't fancy the roast! Thanks for your input. For someone like me, who can't stand vegetables, I wasn't sure how that would be looked at! x

Personally I think I would opt for your veggie option but thats just because I am not a fan of beef and love mozarella!

Ooo sounds lovely! We're having a beef main course as well, just wanted something different to chicken and makes a nice change (beside mil doesn't like chicken lol...what's not to like?). We're also having an aubergine charlotte for veggie option so great minds and all that!
Personally I prefer veggie food so had to make sure they were gonna be good! I very much like the sound of yours!
And that cheesecake sounds amazing...
