Feeling Crap about my dress -HELP

How are we all girls...
Not been on here for a few days! Whats been happening!
Really could do with your thoughts on a matter i have as its starting to get me down
I know this sounds like a ridiculous matter but the more and more i think about things iam starting to HATE my dress. Well maybe hate is too strong a word but iam seriously doubting it.
Its become more apparent since my best mate has bough her dress for her wedding - its hollywood dreams ( my original designer i was gonna go with) and its stunning. I know i shouldnt compare mine with hers but iam and the more i do it the more i dont like mine. I think its too fussy. Not really a summer dress and iam finding more and more faults with it as time goes on. Plus ive seen another dress on the HD site and i cant help looking at it. I really do think i prefer it.
The thing is my mum has paid for my dress and its on order so i cant really turn around and say i dont want it anymore but what do i do girls? Isit just a phase you go thru or what?!
Any advice would be muchly appreciated xxxx

What dress have you picked? And when was the last time you saw it or tried it on?

Ive had had moments of pure doubt over my dress, but every time I tried it on again I kinda fell back in love with it.

And STOP comparing your dress to your friends!! You know your will look stunning in whatever you pick!

I knew I would tell you that you are being stupid!! Your dress is well nicer than the second one!! Much more detailing on the bodice, it has the beautiful detailing on the skirt, you would be mad to change dresses!

I think you should go try your dress on again, and remember how amazing you felt in it

I am not a typical girly girl, but i love your orginal dress!

I think its different from other dresses, a lovely colour and I love the ribbon detail!
The other one looks a bit frou-frou for me - the skirt seems too out of preportion and too flouncy? I know your dress has a large skirt, but the 2 different materials give it more definitation?

If, when you get your dress, you still think its too fussy, maybe you could ask the seamstress if she can make a few adjustments, but honestly, i think its lush!

I think the second skirt is too full as well! I think thats what puts me off it. And the fact is that HD dresses are supposed to be all jewelled and encrusted, its what makes them special, that second dress just isnt Hd enough for my liking!

And Im not just saying that, I mean it

I much prefer your original dress. Its a more individual design.

Iam just dress is doubting everything at mo ( not us as a couple) but the venue, the cake etc etc - i cant think why i feel like this none other than dam PMT!!
I do agree - my original is pretty - maybe your right Zeps - maybe i should go and try it on again! Might cheer me up! I do think the skirt is quite big cos of the extra material on top but i dont think ill wear the hoop underneath - its just bugging me as on the model it looks nice but on real life brides ive seen wearing it, well, it looks different...iam just thinking have you gotta be tall and skinny to pull it off?! Ive only felt like this since My bessie started booking up for her wedding and i dont know why as iam really happy for her!

personally, yours is much nicer (sorry, i know you also like the second one, but I don't think it's in the same league)

Go try it on, and maybe the other one too - that way at least you'll know... try and ask the shop if you can take pics of them both (hopefully if you've already paid for one they won't mind!) and then post them here - we'll be honest!

your original dress is stunning, def the one I would go for, I think it's pretty normal to worry about it tho, I was the same, but I'm glad I didn't change my mind

I personally prefer your first dress. Itas got much more detail on it and I think it looks prettier than the second one. x
